Chapter IV:
John, the last words of Dante in The Divine Comedy: "l'amor che muove il sol e l'altre stelle." The love that moves the sun and other stars. And, you know, they finally have. What is it? It is the arrest of this union, connection, and not just one, but with the plurality of being – all of which the first growth.
Barbara: That the vision that the vision that motivated me to be part of the body of mankind, and this body of evil to become one and move toward the direction of universal life. Barbara Hubbard is no relation to God.
Hazel: Yes, I have always felt that to yourself.
Barbara: And I is not just personal ties Hazel Henderson.
Hazel: Oh, no.
Barbara: Hey, John, would not work in the world as you do so, and at the New School for Social Research.
John: And with all the boys and little black prisoners.
Hazel: It's really an attempt to link
Barbara: Each of us could have led a life of deep contemplation. We could have become Yogis. You are probably one, John, but not spend all their time in a lotus position. You are in the world.
Jean: Yogi means union.
Barbara: Yes, but in traditional forms, yogis spent much time isolated from the world. You have a very active life. And so is Hazel, and I do, which is a real worker in the spiritual domain, this effect is evident out.
John: This is the new form of Eros!
Barbara: I have a vision to see that all members of the human species, and to be attracted by the each potential. And most of what can be achieved through its power of emancipation, most humans will be able to connect. You have a very strong motivation to reach many people. How do you see as the desire to reach the largest possible?
John: Well, has not started this way. From 1960 until about five years I have worked with thousands of people one by one. And then I began to realize that these things can happen – it works! And now I'm rid of lots of low self-esteem and a certain arrogance that comes galloping have been too successful too soon, and a professor at nineteen. That's a lot of waste! If you can Then get rid of, the channels are much clearer. To get rid of unnecessary ego protections – allowing, of course, to keep body and soul and soul together, and make you get up in the morning – the flow of other became very natural. This is not a question of having to move and reach more people, we are prepared and the natural ecology of the necessary things. But I'm glad I did not cut loose in the world for fifteen years!
Barbara: But you are being dumped in the world.
John: Yes, but in a state I hope and pray for me is the air conditioning. And it must be cleaned and revitalized each morning! No reasons ego, but because the accumulation of waste – people project things: Angers, fears, hostilities. You know all this.
Hazel: Yes, on the right.
Barbara: How to clear in the morning?
John: Well, there are many ways to do so. I will be there, and my mind becomes in a large vacuum, and a wide range. It is the breath and understand what I am nothing … and, when it began to be anything important. [laughs] But it must be constantly monitored. Any time I'm a little suspicious that I'm doing something for reasons that may be ambitious or personal – I quit.
