I have a guitar POD 2.0 model with a small amplifier and upgrade plan. I really is that they do not want to buy a combo amp that defeat, because, fundamentally, the purpose of my POD 2.0, because it has the same effect as that. Secondly, would be a loss of $ 200 for the POD 2.0. So I asked my POD 2.0 only the power of government, instead of needing a power amplifier output line or emulated instead of having to buy a head? On the site, it says this about their product: "Other forms of POD can be optimized for connection with the amplifier input power of a closed system, return, or in closed back cabinets. "
Well … subject of a combo amplifier is not only add effects, especially the power of the closet. To be honest, I think we should review a combo amp. I agree that is the object. I have two amplifiers tube combo (a Hughes & Kettner Fender DeVille 112 and 410) and use a pedal on one side and a GNX4 processor to another. As you can turn out quite the impact on the "head" a combo, you can run the POD in the same, right? What you're really paying for is the combo to the amplifier, at least at a level of quality for amplifier. The effects are based on, at least in my opinion, generally most of a trick. The only effect of the value of the combination of amp reverb and EQ buttons (low-mid-high.) Apart from that, I only use the clean channel of my board and my purpose. I do not think the POD is an integrated amplifier, so it would not be able to run directly to the cabinet anyway. Extract above is a bit confusing. I'm in the back of the closed system, but closed at the back of the case seems to imply, you can run directly de-amplified in a company. I seriously doubt it is. You know, Guitar Center sells these things. You can call them and pretend you want to buy one, and ask your question to sales rate. Many idiot, but often they know whereof they speak. Best of luck!
