APEX Minerals said all circuits in the Wiluna plant have been ordered and a lower gold fusion has begun and will continue throughout the week.
The first gold to be concentrated in the Biox circuit is expected next week.
Biox gold in the circuit at the end of November was just over 2000 ounces
The company said the delay in the gold production was mainly caused by small defects in the electrical supply 2 power plant grinding circuit.
However, Apex said the time needed to locate and correct these defects have exceeded expectations and diverts resources from other tasks in order.
"The delay in making the plant has 2 circuits reduces the amount food delivered to the flotation circuit and, in turn, reduces the amount of concentrate in the Biox circuit during the last week of November and first week of December, " CEO Mark Ashley said in a statement.
"However, gold in the circuits and new materials from two milling circuits is now in the circuit Biox and flotation.
"Recovery of gold through the flotation circuit at this early stage is encouraging, with an average of 87 percent in November and reached 91 percent. "
Ashley said in November mineral in the East Pit open 90,000 tons has been reduced to 4.47 grams per tonne of Total gold with an open pit mine in late November 4.15gpt 180,000 t of gold.
Open pit and underground production at the end of November in connection with pre-existing on the storage of 43,450 tons or 235,000 tons 2.93gpt totaled 3.98gpt or approximately 30,000 ounces of gold figure.
Today, the shares of Apex Minerals jumped 10.71% to 31c.
