If you take the hard drive (HDD) on your laptop and have to recover part of it or reformat and use the Caddy USB Disk for backup, but this options that might not have?

There are generally two reasons why a standard IDE / ATA hard disk or USB disk connected to a standard Appendix designed to take account of these units:

1. The hard disk is 12 mm in thickness and not the normal size of 9.5 mm thick. Some hard drives older were made a few "big" that the rule and, therefore, within the hard drive is not the case the hard drive.
