The exceptionally talented Jazz group Weather Report have released their CD entitled Heavy Weather. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Weather Report to the fans and jazz lovers will be glad of that. With the launch of Heavy Weather artistic excellence is on full display as they have once again delivered a brilliant collection of songs that could very well be his best work to date.
I hope this is not the case, but it's not every day that I have a CD for review is very easy for me to listen to from beginning to end.
Time is a huge diverse mix of 8 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by clearly these excellent musicians. With many songs that shows a lot of that kind of emotion that makes for great listening. Apparently, based on what can only be imagine your own life experiences. At various points that affect most real emotions of love, pain, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. Are all here.
Listen to this CD and I think you will not find much discrimination as its theme. Songs are inspired, the production is simply outstanding, and this is clearly the work of a group of musicians in top form. So much so that even if a bit of jazz will enjoy this CD.
While the CD is really really good standout tracks Track 2 – Note that he has done, track 5 – Mama Rumba, and track 8 – Havona.
My Bonus Pick, and the pain [... as in "Stuck On Repeat"] is track 1 – Birdland. It is great track!
