Do I have to be combined with a bass amp or head of a cabinet and connected?
I would like to survey a large amplifier. Should I go with a combo amp or head of the firm and the separation? My price is about $ 500, but I want a good quality. Please name brands. Thank you!
Hi Bambam .. If there is a head and cab is the only way to go .. Things have changed quite dramatically in the amplification in the last 10 years. A large number of Heads low, you can buy from different manufacturers are also included in combination with different amplifiers speaker configurations. If I have two types of amplifiers, I find it much easier to take the combination of amplifier that you work in. Some brands in the value of research would be GK, AC Ashdown, (my favorite) and Peavey. I would like to avoid at all costs Behringer and Hartke, but only with Hartke aluminum conductors. Hardly anyone recognized the work on it, and if they do …… extremely expensive. (as for any driver of aluminum) also are not cheap to buy new ones. Someone said if you want to go with 15 more and more strength to go 10 or 12 inch speaker? It is not necessarily true. A poor 15 "speaker, such as those met in Behringer bass, that Ampère down .. .. but not much, and if it breaks down much pushed hard.
