Why does not my Denon 789 TRUE HD screen when I play a blue ray on my PS3?
BLU RAY improve my game on my ps3, but my DENON receiver, it appears as a true hd … Why? and what is best DTS or Dolby Digital?
Denon shows its only TrueHD or DTS-HD when the receiver can decode. However, the PS3 can not send the broadband signal to the receiver. The PS3 is not the decoding internally and send the decoded signal as PCM (multi-channel). The quality Sound is in the same way, not only the fire True HD or DTS-HD reported in the receiver.
