How do I record audio in Logic Pro without using any external source?
I would like to record in Logic Pro, but the audio tracks of software running at the same time as iTunes or Quicktime without having to save from the external input. This would allow sampling. The default for external audio input and each time it appears that there is no input option. Ideas?
Complicated, but I will tell you how you can do. Open the Sound control panel, normally by right-clicking on the little speaker icon in the lower right corner near the clock and choose recording devices. If you do not see that then go to Control Panel. It is then hardware and sound> Sound Make sure to click the Save tab. You will now see a list of recording devices like microphone, online, what the law is no audio? Hidden Vista! Cunning. Right-click on the empty area just below the list and click on "Show Devices of the disabled "Then you will see" Stereo Mix "appears. Right-click 'Stereo Mix" and select "Enable." You can then use "Stereo Mix" to record the sounds of the interior and audio equipment. I recommend using an application like Audacity, which is free. I hope this answers your question.
