Why is my second bass drum mounted tom make a strange noise of metal?
I tightened all the screws on the inside of the tom, ankles are not cowards, and assembly are not the weapons. the drum itself is very good, but when I touched the edges of the tom drum, a strange noise of metal against metal vibrant … I do not see what you are vibrating.
Inner legs of springs ago, one or more may be loose. You should be able to isolate, which is pressing on each ear. When you find, eliminate the root of the tension and remove the leg. If it was spring, just return if some drummers on each leg with packing cotton balls to minimize noise in the spring. If none of this is the problem, make sure the heads are properly seated around the rim and ring, it could be.
